By making a reservation through our Booking platforms, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1.⁠ ⁠General

  • 1.1 – These terms and conditions apply to all online orders made through our website.
  • 1.2 – We reserve the right to update these terms at any time without prior notice.

2.⁠ ⁠Ordering and Payment

  • 2.1 – Orders must be placed through our official website.
  • 2.2 – All prices are in NZD and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • 2.3 – Payments must be completed at the time of ordering.
  • 2.4 – A 15% surcharge applies on all public holidays.

3.⁠ ⁠Pick-Up Only

  • 3.1 – All orders are strictly pick-up only from: Manaia Seafood Boil Ltd, 31 Hill Street, Onehunga, Auckland 1061
  • 3.2 – Customers must collect their orders during the specified pick-up time.
  • 3.3 – Uncollected orders will not be refunded or replaced.

4.⁠ ⁠Order Processing

  • 4.1 – Orders are prepared fresh and subject to availability.
  • 4.2 – Orders must be placed at least 24 hours in advance to ensure proper preparation.

5.⁠ ⁠Food Safety and Quality

  • 5.1 – All meals are prepared and packed fresh, ensuring high quality and safety at the time of pick-up.
  • 5.2 – Once meals leave our premises, we are not responsible for any issues related to food handling, transportation, or storage.

6.⁠ ⁠Refunds and Cancellations

  • 6.1 – Orders canceled due to change of mind or for any reasons before the pick-up time are not eligible for a full refund.
  • 6.2 – No refunds or replacements will be provided once meals leave our premises.

6A. No-Shows

  • For parties of 5 or more, a credit card is required to hold your reservation.
  • Cancellations, no-shows, or significant changes made less than 24 hours in advance may be subject to a $50 fee.

7.⁠ ⁠Allergies and Dietary Restrictions

  • 7.1 – Our seafood boil may contain allergens such as shellfish, spices, and other ingredients.
  • 7.2 – Customers are responsible for notifying us of any allergies or dietary restrictions at the time of placing the order.

8.⁠ ⁠Liability

  • 8.1 – We are not liable for any damages, losses, or issues once the order has been collected from our premises.
  • 8.2 – Consumption of our products is at the customer’s own risk, particularly in cases of known allergies or dietary restrictions.

9. Delivery

  • Deliveries will be made from our Penrose branch only.
  • Delivery is available within designated service areas only.
  • Orders placed outside our delivery zone may be declined or cancelled.
  • Delivery availability may vary depending on demand, weather, and operational capacity.

9A. Delivery Times

  • Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide only and are not guaranteed.
  • Delays may occur due to traffic, weather, high order volumes, or unforeseen circumstances.
  • We are not liable for delays beyond our reasonable control.

9B. Order Accuracy

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring that all order details (items, address, contact number) are correct at the time of purchase.
  • Manaia Seafood Eatery is not responsible for issues arising from incorrect or incomplete delivery information.

9C. Delivery Fees

  • Delivery fees apply and will be clearly displayed at checkout.
  • Fees may vary based on distance, time, or demand.
  • Delivery fees are non-refundable once the order has been dispatched.

9D. Failed Deliveries

A delivery may be considered unsuccessful if:

  • No one is available to receive the order
  • Incorrect address is provided
  • Customer cannot be contacted

In such cases:

  • The order may be returned, cancelled, or disposed of
  • No refund will be issued for perishable items

9E. Food Quality & Handling

  • We take care to ensure food leaves our premises in high-quality condition.
  • Once the order is handed over to the delivery driver, factors such as travel time and handling may affect food quality.
  • Seafood is perishable and should be consumed promptly upon delivery.

9F. Refunds & Complaints

  • If there is an issue with your order (missing items, incorrect items, or quality concerns), you must notify us within a reasonable timeframe (preferably within 1 hour of delivery).
  • Refunds or replacements are issued at our discretion.
  • We may request photo evidence for quality-related complaints.

9G. Contactless Delivery

  • Contactless delivery may be offered upon request.
  • Once the order is left at the designated location, responsibility transfers to the customer.

9H. Pricing & Availability

  • All prices are subject to change without notice.
  • Menu items are subject to availability.
  • We reserve the right to substitute items when necessary (with reasonable alternatives).

9I. Allergies & Dietary Requirements

  • Customers must inform us of any allergies when placing an order.
  • While we take precautions, we cannot guarantee that food is completely free from allergens due to shared kitchen environments.
